Baseball Museum (Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha)

Museum

Near the entrance to the Okinawa Cellular Stadium Naha, there is a prefectural exhibit on the history of baseball where you can learn more about the role it has played in Okinawa.
Items such as the uniform of the first Okinawan to play baseball professionlly, Sohachi Aniya (from when he played for the Hisoshima Toyo Carp), together with the ball and other items from the first Koshien Tournament that Shuri High School competed in since the war, back in the summer of 1958, as well as videos detailing the 2010 series of victories Konan High School achieved during the Koshien Tournament of that year are available for your viewing pleasure.
