A square spout was built on the inside stone wall, about 2.5m deep from the mouth of the well, to get water running through the underground channel. This well is so characteristic of a volunteer who invested his own money to dig a well and build an underground channel to take spring water into a well, providing fresh water to the local people. - Quote
