Academic information

Located on the Kokuba Nakamichi, where the village shop (meeting place) was since the era of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The current community center was completed in March 1995. During the war, the Japanese army used it as a kitchen, which was lost in an air raid by the U.S. military. Because there was a significant on-site well, it has been left as a place for worship of the "well of the village."
