Additional Information
- Academic information
- It is said that the village Ga (communal well) was attributed to Jinnoji and Shikina-Gu. In the “Ryukyukoku Yuraiki (The Records of the Origin of the Ryukyu Kingdom)” (1713), this Ga was written as "Gokoku-Ga (Ga for cereals)" which means milk-like spring/virtuous water. As the water is very tasty, it was used for making tofu.
