This Protestant church, belonging to the United Church of Christ in Japan, has a 98-year old history since its inception. Some thirty or more evangelical churches make up the organization. The church was used as the base for the signal troops of Japanese military during the Battle of Okinawa and later fell under attack. The Cross on the chapel is exactly the same as it was.
